Highwood is a private cabin on a wooded lot on Carter Mountain, about six miles north of Hochatown in the Ouachita forest. Slow mornings happen under vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, with forest and mountain light pouring through big windows. Evenings move out to the covered deck, with the outdoor fireplace, the grill, dinner under the trees, and a soak in the private hot tub to end the night. Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and Hochatown's restaurants and shops are a short drive away, but the cabin is set up so you never have to leave.

How do I book?

Check-in is 4 PM and checkout is 11 AM. Arrival is self check-in. The door code is sent to the guest before the stay and is never posted on this site.
